Thank you all so much for your submissions for the first WriteBites event. We have had an overwhelming global response. Although future submissions will not be considered for our upcoming event, we welcome WriteBites scripts for later productions. The successful playwrights for our launch will be contacted in due course. Please keep checking this site for news of our shortlist and future events.
Eyebrow Productions is asking writers what they think can happen in 5 minutes. From the fantastical to the mundane, whether you’re waiting at a bus stop or witnessing the apocalypse, Eyebrow is inviting writers to submit their 5-minute plays for an exciting evening of new writing.
The event, WriteBites, is encouraging writers from all backgrounds and experience to submit material. Twelve plays, to be performed by an ensemble of actors, will be selected for the first event to take place at a London venue, (to be announced), followed by a WriteBites launch party.
The deadline for submissions is Thursday 30 April.
Scripts should be typed on single-side A4, and approximately five pages long.
Please send submissions to:
WriteTime,
92 Cromwell Tower,
Barbican,
London,
EC2Y 8DD
Any scripts received after this date will not be considered for the first WriteBites event, to take place in May, but will be considered for the next WriteBites night, set to be a regular event on the London theatre scene.

Today, we launch our brand new website. Jonny says woohoo.

Having produced a number of well-established plays and musicals, including the 48-hour Showtime Challenges, Eyebrow Productions is now keen to develop, devise and produce new writing.
Whether for a run of several weeks, or a rehearsed reading, feel free to submit scripts or propose ideas for new work throughout the year. There is no deadline.
As well as inviting writers to submit full-length plays for development, we have also launched an evening of five-minute plays - WriteBites - which provides writers with a platform to experiment with new material.
All scripts we receive will be read individually by several members of Eyebrow Productions.
